In the 1960’s, Bill Carlson, owner of Carlson Wedding Service, offered a job to a young man looking to support his family.

Glen Taylor went on to learn about the wedding business, listen to customers and develop ideas to cut delivery time, improve service and expand offerings.

Eventually, owner Carlson agreed to share ownership if Glen could continue to grow the company and its profits. Glen put his innovative ideas to work, making modifications to improve equipment efficiency and marketing new products to the wedding industry.

Taylor purchased Carlson Wedding Service in 1975 – as the foundation for what would become Taylor Corporation. He assembled a passionate leadership team and dramatically expanded the firm’s capabilities through acquisitions and start-ups, bringing its spirit of ingenuity across markets and international borders.

The company, now led by Jean Taylor, continues to grow, strategically positioning itself to meet the opportunities and challenges of an evolving global marketplace.
